If we want to register multiple types of browsers to Selenium Grid we must follow the following logic:
The base command for when we want to add a node to the hub is the following:
java -jar selenium-server-standalone-2.35.0.jar -role node -hub http://localhost:5555/grid/register -browser browserName=firefox,maxInstances=5

The browser initiation plus the maximum instance number is given in the part: -browser browserName=firefox,maxInstances=5
So if we want to add more browsers to the Grid we need to multiply the previous command.
The complete command would be like the following:
java -jar selenium-server-standalone-2.35.0.jar -role node -hub http://localhost:5555/grid/register -browser browserName=firefox,maxInstances=5 -browser browserName=chrome,maxInstances=5 -browser browserName=iexplorer,maxInstances=5

The command prompt output would look like this:

b

If we check the Grid results in the browser, then we would see that the browsers are registered to the Grid.
