Make your manual testing faster with Vysor

How to set up Vysor?

1. Open your phone’s settings and navigate to “About phone.”
2. Tap several times on “Build number” until a toast notification pops up saying you are now a developer.
3. Navigate to “Developer options” in your Settings app.
4. Enable USB debugging.

On the desktop side:

1. Download Google Chrome and install it
2. Open Chrome settings and navigate to the Extensions option
3. Click on the “Get more extensions” and install Vysor

Now all you need is to connect your device to the PC and run Vysor. When the app is opened click on the “Find Device” button and choose your phone or tablet from the listed devices.

For testers, this tiny app can be a really useful tool. You can control the Android device from your PC, and because of that you can test on your desktop. When it comes to entering texts, keyboard is always faster than the on-screen keyboard. Another great thing is that you can screenshot and record your Android screen with PC applications, you don’t have to suffer with additional apps and setting them up on your Android device.
